Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR) is part of Nestlé Enterprises S.A., part of the Swiss multinational company which ranks as the world’s largest food and beverage company.

NITR was created as a standalone business in January 1999, with a central office based in Switzerland complemented with Regional Business Managers based in different regions of the world.

With the mission is to bring excitement to all travellers and to introduce them to Nestlé’s leading brands and, in many cases, travel retail-exclusive products. NITR has ambitious targets for the Food and the Confectionery categories in Travel Retail and is aiming at reaching them through key partnerships while at the same time ensuring a sustainable future.

Founded in 1725 by Irishman Thomas Barton, Barton & Guestier has developed a brand strategy based on AOC and IGP Varietal wines from the main French wine growing areas. Its expertise and partnership with around 150 sustainable winegrowers, guarantee excellent quality for winelovers in 130 countries. Travel Retail Exclusive wine ranges are available in international airports. The company headquarters are based at Château Magnol, also hosting the B&G Food & Wine Academy open to B&G’s trade partners. Barton & Guestier celebrates its 300th anniversary this year, and was recently awarded European Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast. The company is certified ECOVADIS – Silver Label.
