SPA of ICELAND embodies the feeling of Iceland’s clean water, fresh air, rich salt, nurturing minerals and geothermal power. It evokes Iceland’s natural beauty and wonder. The brand began with its key ingredient, Icelandic sea salt, and has expanded to include products and ingredients that nurture and promote healthy skin, hair and homes.
This premium vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free beauty line features 95% natural ingredients and includes an indulgent shower gel, revitalizing and hydrating shampoo, nourishing and strengthening conditioner, a smoothing Icelandic white sea salt scrub, luxurious and nutritious body soufflé, softening and fragrant hand soap and hand cream, as well as, three relaxing, nourishing and energizing scented Icelandic bath salts, scent diffusers and soy wax/ vegan paraffin aromatherapy candles.
The brand will expand its product offering in 2021 to include an additional hair & scalp care product, footcare products, as well as, face and skincare products. The brand’s business model is a combination of direct, digital sales and traditional consumer brand reselling partnerships, on and offline. Its target and current customers seek premium, thoughtfully-crafted skincare, personal care and home products. Customers have an affinity for nordic design, a curiosity, income and desire to travel, tend to have a love for Iceland and its nature, either because they’ve visited Iceland or aspire to do so. SPA of ICELAND originally launched its brand in high design and concept retail stores throughout Iceland in q3 of 2018, where it maintains its presence, expanding to offer its own online shop, availability in Duty-free shops in airports across Iceland, including the international airport. The brand began expanding abroad in 2019, to the US, Germany, The Netherlands and Taiwan. In 2020, upon securing additional trademark registration, the brand began expanding to China and Israel, as well as other territories in Asia.
SPA of ICELAND products are encased in striking, minimalist nordic packaging, using recycled and recyclable materials that are appealing to consumers and enhance the appearance of the bath and home.
